'Monsters' Magazine Review

The 'Monsters' magazine review was a very good one in my opinion. I found it to have all the common features a review should have. It included interesting images, a good design, comical quotes, a general theme and a thorough evaluation.

First off the images were placed in a different fashion than any old review. It had the basic picture here and there, but it also had a sequence above and beneath the review side by side; which I actually decided to include in my magazine review.

The theme for this review was quite simple; it had a white background with yellow strips of colours placed in key areas; such as the bottom and top near those pictures I spoke about, where key quotes were in view and near the key information such as the release date.

This also matched the genre set which was a scifi/thriller. As the photos weren't the most pleasant and in fact were of people in gas masks and always in view of something looking toward the camera which the audience cannot see.

The review itself was very well structured as it included information that a potential viewer may want to know; such as the ratings from critics and what they felt about it.

The font used in the review was basic but the big quotes and attractions were in block capitals. I thought that this was clever as it caught the eye of the viewer perfectly as they were the largest points of distinction on the page.
