Scene 1: Establishing shots of a neighborhood, then a fade into a house of a man having a family moment with three of what are assumed his kids. He leaves his house on the phone having a very intense conversation with someone about money. He gets into an argument about needing it urgently. There is another person on the line, assuming he is important as the character feels intimidated by the conversation. He is told very briefly that there is no stretching the deadline. He returns to the other phone call and expresses this. The person locks off and he shows a lot of anger. A biker clips him as he passes and he screams out at him, the biker skids around and returns to him and knocks him down to the ground.Camera slightly in and out of focus as the masked figure uses his hand to cover his face (first person shot: the camera)
Scene 2: He wakes up in a very empty room and it is pitch black (where a night vision CCTV camera will be used). He begins to scour around using his mobile as a light source and discovers the camera in a corner of the room. He is very distressed and tries negotiating with the people trying to get them to communicate, but nothing worth doing. Eventually after much pleading and offers he realizes that gas is seeping into the room and he begs for them not to hurt him and how he has a family.
Scene 3: He wakes up in a boot (still in night vision to show the transition had not yet passed) he screams for help and to exit, the boot flies open. He gets out and looks around as there is nobody in sight. He chuckles as he sees the key hanging the from the drivers door and in motion, meaning that who ever put him there is not far. He walks toward the door as he realizes that his phone is ringing. He answers twice with no reply and then understands that it's the people who locked him up, he explains how he doesn't understand why they did this and exclaims that he's going after them. He throws the phone and as it is in the air a still image is used and credits roll upwards viewing the title, cast and production company.
I have created this blog in order to match the short film I am trying to create: 'Retribution'. The reason for this would be to achieve a good grade for my media A2 class and to be able to show people my work and have them hopefully enjoy what they see. - - The creation of this blog and everything it consists of has been created solely by me; Mohamad Hamdan

Updated Movie Plan
Scene 1: A man wakes up in the middle of an empty play center and doesn't know how he got there or have any recollection of what had happened before. He gets up rather very unsteadily and makes his way around screaming for a response by anyone. (nothing) He manages to climb over the gate to get out. As he lands on the ground a suspicious figure on a bike (a bandanna covers the majority of his face. The man tries to signal him over for help, the figure doesn't slow down and the man worries as he steps backward carefully screaming at him. He is then suddenly grabbed and dragged to an unknown destination, with a lot of mayhem and dissolves.
Scene 2: He is thrown into a dark room and left there with no interaction for a while. (From here on out it will be filmed in night vision in the room) It is dark and he is beginning to feel affected by the lonesome situation he is in. A voice begins telling him to remember what happened and that lives depend on it, he shouts out that he remembers nothing and this goes on for a while with the voice telling him things that he has no memory of. It seems like forever since the last time he left the room and tears begin to ripple down his face. He begins to scream at the voice telling them he knows nothing and to let him out but there was no response. (various close and extreme close ups of him as he may lie there motionless, and of when he begins to walk around in circles and talking to himself. Then the voice tells him something (A girl he loved maybe, flashes go off in his head) that causes him to remember things, he announces it, the voice tells him some sort of encrypted code and as it's said he begins to close his eyes and gradually lies down on the floor.
Scene 3: Then he wakes up in the middle of the center again and feels more confident and appears to know exactly where he is going and what he is doing, he lands outside again and sees the bike again, he simply stands there and lets the bike pass on by (a slow motion of the bike passing by from first person both perspectives. (During his wake up)Voice over: If anything, today made me realize that, a persons life boils down to two things, reality and imagination. If someone were able to link the two, opportunities would be endless. A completely sane person could be transformed into a schizophrenic without even knowing it. Or one would care to venture through a retrospective approach; where someone would be able to look back upon something and have the power to change it. After the bike passes he takes a photo out of his pocket and walks in the direction in which the bike came. The camera at head height he looks up, takes a glance at the camera and walks past it diagonally and the camera pans up to the sky and fades.

Retrospective: Voiceover
Awoken, by the cold breeze whistling past my face. I had no clue where I was and what I was doing here. People all around were staring at me as if seeing a ghost. It felt like entering a new class in primary school all over again. Only this time, it was actually scary. This piece of burnt tissue belonged to a cafe. All I kept thinking is how it got there. This could help me find out more about what had happened before I woke up here; the feeling reminded me of how it felt to be a baby. I scoured the area looking for something to help me understand what I was doing here, whether it be for a purpose, or simply someone playing an evil game. A sudden pain shoots across my brain, everything goes white, I can barely think. I see myself at a cafe, it seems like I knew what I was doing there, if only I could retrace my steps and get to that phase. Another impulsive ache throbbing at my brain cells, I was powerless; all I could do was accept the pain and pray for it to end. As it did I felt relieved but only to be swarmed by the emptiness in my mind of not knowing anything about my life and what I was doing here. For a third time it feels like my head is going to implode, I was in so much agony that I was routing for it to finish me off so that it could end. I find the cafe after what seems like forever. As I enter I keep my head down in the event that I am a criminal that even I don’t know about. I try to recreate the surroundings as I sit down only to realise I was sitting in the chair opposite. I look around anxiously not knowing any of the faces I see before me and wondering if any of them feel any differently about seeing me. I notice a phone, that wasn’t there before and a piece of tissue identical to the one I found in my pocket. I looked around to see if I could spot who put it there but it was like looking for a needle in a haystack. As I pick up the phone a set of instructions appear before me. I think to myself, is this some sort of practical joke? As I read on I find out that it is everything but, and that I’m going to need to complete these tasks if I want any answers. The first instruction was very specific and said ‘you must complete the following while the LED flashes green.’ At this point I become aware that this is going to be a timed exercise. As I read on it said ‘if the colour turns red, then you fail.’ I didn’t want to think about the consequence of failing and stayed positive. I leave the cafe and attempt to begin the series of tasks given to me by this anonymous figure. The first one read out ‘Pick up the wallet at the north - east entrance beside the bin.’ I spot the bin and make my way to see if what I’ve been told is true. There is indeed a wallet at the base of the dustbin. What followed was to ‘take out the card, and trash the wallet’. So I did exactly that. I was then instructed to ‘insert the card into an ATM, enter the numbers 2, 5, 2 and the number you receive.’ I thought to myself what the hell does that mean? Out of nowhere a stranger rushes past me and verbalises the word 5 into my ear. For a moment I thought about following this person but realised that I should complete what I’ve set out to do. After entering the PIN, just as I began to think that things couldn’t get any more unusual; an envelope is withdrawn. Without bothering to stand there and ponder about this occurrence, I decide to proceed onwards. I was then instructed to under any circumstances to ‘Do not open the envelope’. I learnt something from listening to the story of Pandora’s Box. I thought to myself only bad could come from disobeying, so I continued on. My final instruction was rather a peculiar one; I was told to deliver the envelope to a person who looked in need of help. It crossed my mind that this could be absolutely anyone and caused my brain to intertwine with all the things going on at once. I couldn’t succumb to the fact that I was going to be unsuccessful. If anything, today made me realise that, a persons life boils down to two things, reality and imagination. If someone were able to link the two, opportunities would be endless. A completely sane person could be transformed into a schizophrenic without even knowing it. Or one would care to venture through a retrospective approach; where someone would be able to look back upon something and have the power to change it. If you were gifted with this unique ability (during the fade out to the end and as he opens his eye) what would you do?
